Alhumdullillah Jamia-tul-Madinah is an institution maintained by Dawat-e-Islami; here Islamic brothers and Islamic sisters are gifted with knowledge. At the present time there are many branches for Islamic brothers to take part in “Dars-e-Nizami” (8 years Aalim Course) and “Hifz” in which about 40,000 students are taking part. Within other branches approximately 1,000 Islamic sisters, are taking part in “Dars-e-Nizami” (4 Year Alimah Course) and “Shariah Course”.

Islamia School is probably the best known Muslim school in Britain, partly due to it's founder and chairman of governors, Yusuf Islam, who in the 1960s and 1970s was well known as the musician Cat Stevens. Islamia School is certainly one of the first Muslim Schools and was the first to get recognition and support from the government after a long and difficult struggle.
