3. Baitun Noor
Baitun Noor Holy Khanqah was so named in 1996 by his Eminence Sultan Mohyuddin Imam Syed Mubarik Ali Shah Gilani, (a direct descendant of the Holy Last Messenger Muhammad (countless peace and blessings be upon him), the Chancellor of the International Quranic Open University. The Imam faxed a dua (prayer) from the treasure chest of Sultan Sheikh Syed Abdul Qadir Jilani to be recited on Nisf Sha’ban (15th day of the eighth month of the Islamic calendar) and subsequently upon receipt of the fax the miracles began.
