The Jami’yyatul Ulama Canada, Canadian Council of Muslim Theologians (CCMT) is a constituted federally Canadian registered non profit body of Muslim Theologians (Ulama, religious scholars). Its inception is to serve the socio-religious needs of the Muslim community residing in Canada. The organization is directed and managed by certified Muslim Theologians only, who have studied and graduated in Islamic universities in the field of Shari’ah.

Our mission is to use what Allah (subhana wa ta'ala) has given us (Qu'ran and Sunnah) to enlighten, to cultivate, to educate and develop our families, our communities and ourselves. To empower the women of our community in order to confront the cycles of domestic violence, abuse, exploitation, and ignorance. We strive to build a movement that works to end violence against women.

This site is aimed as a general meeting place for all Muslims. In
particular those new to Islam who have unanswered questions, or perhaps need the support of their new found brothers and sisters.
